On March 11, in the matches held in Šiauliai, the Vilnius Rugby Academy men's team secured an honorable third place in the prestigious S. Darius and S. Girėnas Rugby Cup tournament, organized by the Lithuanian Rugby Federation. In a decisive match against the powerful Šiauliai rugby club "Vairas-Kalvis-Jupoja", our team demonstrated incredible persistence and team spirit, snatching victory with a score of 21:15 (7:8).
This achievement was made possible not only by the VRA players but also by the "Šiauliai" rugby club, which strengthened our team and contributed to securing third place. A huge THANK YOU to them for their cooperation and support!
The tournament's best player award went to Robertas Petrošius, whose outstanding performance on the field inspired the team to fight until the final whistle.
We sincerely thank everyone who supported our team – fans, organizers, and each person who stood by us both on and off the field. Victories like this remind us why we love this sport!
