This coming weekend is a real celebration for all members of the Vilnius Rugby Academy community! We have two important days full of energy, excitement and team spirit.

SATURDAY - JUNIOR RUGBY DAY
On May 24, 2025 (Saturday), at 12:00 pm, at Verkių g. 62, Vilnius, the fourth round of non-contact rugby (TAG rugby) will take place, in which our young athletes from the Vilnius Rugby Academy will also participate!
TAG rugby is a non-contact type of rugby, where instead of destructive stops, players must to peel off the “TAG tape” attached to the opponent’s belt. This is a great way for children to safely get acquainted with rugby, develop speed, agility, strategic thinking and team play.
Our young hopes have already participated in all the first three rounds and will enter the field with even more experience and enthusiasm!
We invite all parents, friends, the community and rugby fans to come and support our children - it is extremely important to them. Because every applause, every smile from the stands is an additional force on the field!
WE GROW ONLY TOGETHER!
The 4th round of TAG Rugby is cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
SUNDAY - RUGBY RETURNS TO OUR BACKYARD
On May 25, 2025 (Sunday), at 13:00 pm, we invite everyone to a home match – Vilnius Rugby Academy men will face Kaunas RK “Ąžuolas” team!
This is the Regional Cup R-15 match, organized by the Lithuanian Rugby Federation. This year, this cup has brought together the country's teams into three regions:
Eastern region: Vilnius Rugby Academy, Kaunas “Ąžuolas”, Vilnius “Geležinis vilkas”
Western region: Klaipėda “Kuršiai”, Plungė “Perkūnas”
Northern region: Šiauliai “Baltrex-Šiauliai”, Šiauliai “Šiauliai”, Šiauliai “Vairas”
The goal of this cup is to find out the strongest team in the region.
The first match will be held at the home stadium – M. K. Čiurlionio g. 112, Vilnius.
We really hope for your strong support – because when your voices resonate in the stands, we become even stronger on the field. The fans are our sixteenth player.
We meet on the field – on Saturday with the little ones, on Sunday with the men. One family. One team. One city.
