On Sunday evening at 5 p.m., the Vilnius Rugby Academy (VRA) faced off against Baltrex Dubleriai for a spot in the championship final. The match was fiercely competitive and packed with excitement. The first half ended in VRA's favor, with the team leading 15:10. A strong performance allowed the academy team to take the lead, but the momentum shifted in the second half.

In the second part of the match, Baltrex Dubleriai regained control and dominated the field. Despite VRA's efforts, the game ended 15:34 in favor of Baltrex Dubleriai. It was a gripping contest, with no shortage of battles and passion on both sides.

The standout player of the match was Vilnius Rugby Academy's captain, Domantas Stravinskas, who wore the number 12 jersey. His strong and dedicated play created several opportunities for the team to push toward the opponent’s try line.

Unfortunately, the game did not go without disciplinary action – VRA player Artūras Miežys received a yellow card from the referee, which impacted the team’s performance. Nevertheless, VRA players fought until the very end.

After the match, the traditional third half took place, where team members reflected on the game and shared their experiences. After this respite, VRA returned to Vilnius to prepare for the crucial upcoming match for third place. This game will take place on October 5 against Plungė Rugby Club "Perkūnas."

Despite the defeat, the VRA team gained valuable experience and remained united. Now, all eyes are on the upcoming battle for a spot on the podium.
