Vilnius Rugby Academy defeated Rāmavas Lāči in a landslide

On August 17, Vilnius Rugby Academy (VRA) team participated in the Baltic Rugby Championship against the Latvian team Rāmavas Lāči. The match took place at Riga's RTK stadium. Despite the windy and cloudy weather, the VRA team showcased excellent play and secured an impressive victory over their opponents.
In the first half, the VRA team dominated the field, scoring 31 points while preventing the opponents from scoring any. In the second half, the Vilnius team continued to dictate the pace of the game, and the final score of 55-3 left no doubt about VRA's superiority.
Julius Melnikas, wearing number 15, was named the best VRA player, demonstrating exceptional form and skills. He scored 6 tries and contributed 30 points to the team’s victory.
After the match, the Rāmavas Lāči team warmly invited the VRA players to enjoy Latvian kebabs, and after a pleasant dinner, the Vilnius team headed home in high spirits with another victory in their pocket.
This triumph at the Riga stadium will undoubtedly inspire the team to pursue even greater victories in the upcoming championship stages.
