Unsuccessful end of the season in Latvia

On Sunday, supported by a large crowd of their fans in Latvia, the Vilnius team lost to RC Miesnieki and ended the season in 8th place in the Baltic Top League. The VRA-Tomosta rugby players, who could not find their game, defeated the Latvians at home, but failed to repeat this result on the road.

"The season was not easy, both physically and morally. Although there were really good matches where we gave tough fights to the league favorites, at times we lacked sharpness and finishing in attacks, at times discipline in defense. This season should be like a cold shower for the team, after which I hope they will accept the season result as it is and show character in preparing for the next season. In any case, I thank the men for their dedication and efforts, the Marijampole residents who join and help us a lot, the members of our community who come from abroad, and the players. I want to single out Aryjs Traigis, who has perfectly complemented the men's team and shown that he is one of the most promising Lithuanian rugby players. I must mention and be proud that we have loyal fans and volunteers who have supported us throughout this difficult season, believed in the men and supported us with chants until the very last minutes of the match. Thank you to the sponsors who trust us and are vital to us. Unfortunately, we have to admit that "the sauna did not start". However, since
