TAG Rugby Tournament in Vilnius: growing, strengthening, and celebrating together

On November 23rd, a TAG rugby tournament took place in Vilnius, where our academy participated with three children’s teams. The young athletes competed against teams from various Lithuanian cities, filling the fields with laughter, excitement, memorable moments, a strong sense of community, and plenty of positive emotions.

The children’s performances were truly impressive: many victories, valuable experience, and for each of them this tournament became another meaningful step on their rugby journey – a step that builds courage, confidence, and the desire to return to the field even stronger.

A special thank you to the parents who joined us – supporting, recording moments, encouraging the young athletes, and sharing the joy of every success. Your presence means the world to the children.

A big thank you to our children’s coach, Augustinas Terleckas, for his dedication, patience, and continuous work. His efforts are visible in every child’s progress, confidence, and happiness on the field.

We also extend our thanks to the men’s team players, who helped during the tournament and coached the children’s teams. These moments are truly special. Their involvement inspires the kids, offering practical advice, sharing experience, and helping them grow both technically and mentally.

After the tournament, all participants were awarded medals and treats, and later the children gathered with their parents at a pizzeria to recharge, share their emotions, and continue the joyful atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, contributed, and helped the children further fall in love with rugby and grow through it.
