9th TAG Rugby Tour in Kaunas – Gone Like the Wind!
The Vilnius Rugby Academy team made a powerful appearance at the 9th TAG rugby tour in Kaunas – despite the rain, they secured three victories out of four and once again proved that true strength lies in teamwork and unity.

Last weekend’s ninth TAG rugby tour in Kaunas once again proved that neither rain, nor wind, nor unpredictable weather can stop us – the players of the Vilnius Rugby Academy. Although the sky wasn’t generous with sunshine, our good mood, determination, and team spirit shone in the eyes of the young rugby players.
We arrived in Kaunas ready to compete – armed with smiles, a strong support crew, and unstoppable enthusiasm. And that spirit paid off: three victories out of four matches! A fantastic result that shows our hard work in training is paying off, and on the field we’re learning to understand each other better every game. Of course, there’s always room for improvement – especially when the ball is as slippery. But these challenges are what build character and create the true spirit of rugby.
Our fans deserve a special mention this time. Umbrellas, chants, emotions – all of it created an atmosphere that Kaunas will remember for a long time. Our wave of support filled the field, giving players an extra boost of energy in every play. It was a perfect example of what it means to be a team – not only on the field but beyond it too.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this tour – players, coaches, parents, and fans. Every voice, every cheer, every effort mattered. We play, learn, improve, and most importantly, enjoy every moment with rugby.
